Little Hiccups & Little Silver Linings

Good Evening, Everyone!

Hope that this Thursday has treated you all well, It was a decently productive day for me, as Aiden went down to Keeneland for the races today(I`ll be curious to hear about it when he gets home)and I was able to tackle and accomplish my list of errands! (Pretty sure that deserves a celebration drink 🙂

Any who this morning I had the intention and plans of going to the 11 am mass, and afterwards doing some much needed to do errands in town…Well everything was running fairly smooth and I was ahead of schedule (for the first time in forever ) and before getting ready to leave for church..My little man decided to relieve himself, and let me just reiterate, Boy did he decide to relieve himself! It was up to his neck, down his legs, and up his arms. How ? Good question… I am at a loss on how that little of a person can have that much waste to be rid of , and also get it all over himself like he did. So I had to give him a bath which meant I didn’t get to go to mass like I had originally planned and wanted, but I could rest assured that I was doing my duty of state as I wiped the s*** off of his entire body ( where is my crying laughing emoji when I need it? Haha) and God knew exactly why I wasn’t there at mass this morning.

I am thankful though that he cooperated enough with me to not do it while I was out about running errands! There we are, there is my silver lining! 😉  Also it worked out very well for my younger brother ( who is getting married next weekend) who needed my help loading some of his things for him to take to his new home. So he has his nephew to thank for that as well.Haha

Funny isn’t it ? How no matter how frustrating the little mishaps of life can be that there is always some sort of good you can find in it , if you just think to look for it! Yes, that sometimes isn’t the easiest thing to do… because good Lord knows ,I am terrible remembering to do just that! But here we are at the end of another day, happy and healthy. Deo Gratias!

So tell me what are some interesting things that happened to you today ? You may be surprised to realize just how much happens to you in one day if you just stop and reflect over the last 24 hours !

Take care and I look forward to hearing any stories you may have!

“Toodles!”

In our Lady of Fatima,

Beth
