A Beginning of something New

Hello All,

Before I begin just know that you have that wonderful freedom of walking away when ever you like. Now that we got that out of the way let me begin.

I was rather reluctant to start a blog, knowing darn well it takes someone with a great humor, intelligence or just downright a natural talent of writing. The only thing I can bring to this table is sarcasm (which can occasionally be funny) but that would be like bringing a dry and crumbly cake to a potluck. But there are people who do do those kind of things so at least I’m not alone.

So why would I start a blog you may ask? That is thanks to Aiden, my husband. He is all of the above 3 things I just mentioned of what you need to be a great blogger. Problem that he has though is the time. Saddle breaking thoroughbreds, mustangs ,quarter horses ect as surprisingly as this may sound is a time consuming job,not to mention physical and mentally demanding, to boot.

I’m sure some,if not most girls imagine what kind of man they may end up marrying one day, like what his interests may be to what he does as his living.. I’m pretty sure I never thought of a horseman as such a possibility, maybe because I didn’t realize that that was and still is  a job that exists . I mean it is pretty cool though when someone asks what my husband does for work “ Oh, yeah he’s a horse trainer… no biggee, he just works with over a 1000 lb animals and the nitty gritty of getting them to be respectful as well as rideable.” But seriously though do you know how nerve racking it is as a wife to watch him work!? There are times I’d almost like to not know what’s all involved and what goes into it. To the close calls he has from either being thrown from a horse, to getting kicked ,or a foot being caught in a stirrup and him getting drugged ..the list goes on and on to how he could get hurt or killed.(I know so many jobs do require this risk )but this does get me to call on his Guardian Angel quite a bit on keeping him safe. But this is  his passion and as any wife knows it does your heart good to know that your husband loves what he does even through the hardest points of their careers.

So that’s one of the many things my husband does.. As for me? Well Aiden and I got married just a little over two years ago , and I’ve been ever since making (as best as I can) our house into our home. I do like to change up the non changing things of housework though and help with the petty simple things here around the property and horse barn. I love the breaks of getting outside in that fresh air! Did I mention we live on the rolling green hills of Kentucky? Its absolutely wonderful and I’m so blessed we live where we do! Because I do love to cut grass and there is always plenty of that to do around here!haha

I also get into crafty things especially with it being this time of the year when autumn is here and Christmas is just around the corner(maybe I’ll post some of the things I actually get made this season)

But as I do realize I just rambled on for a great bit I best get back to my house work and my child as he is now up from his nap.

So until next time,

Toodles!!

May you all have a wonderful and blessed day!

In our Lady of Fatima,

Beth
